Don Cronin, CPA, MST
Professional Experience: Don has over 20 years of experience in assisting small businesses and individuals with their accounting and tax matters. Don started his career at Altschuler, Melvoin & Glasser (AM&G), a large Chicago accounting firm that catered to closely held and privately owned business and individuals. In 1997 Don started his firm focusing on small businesses and individuals. Don became an expert in QuickBooks accounting software in 1998. Don has taught several QuickBooks introductory and advanced courses and Harper, Elgin and Oakton community Colleges. Don has been a QuickBooks Pro Advisor since the program started in 1999. During his career Don has experience in several industries including real estate, construction, manufacturing, distributors, profession consultants, dentists, IT professionals and service businesses.
Education: Don graduated from the University of Illinois in 1988 with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA since 1988. Don graduated from DePaul University in 1993 with a Masters Degree in taxation. Don went to Maine East High School in Park Ridge Illinois.
Professional Activities: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Illinois CPA Society Certified QuickBooks Advisor Certified Valuation Analyst (2002-2005)
Personal Activities: Don loves playing ice hockey in Buffalo Grove, skiing and boating and spending time with his wife four kids.
